Grommet Program
Information and Overview
Water polo is a fun sport and a great way to get in shape and improve your fitness. It's one of the best workouts around, with players burning up to 600 calories an hour. Water polo is a growing sport across the USA and around the world.
The Grommet Program was new this winter and runs all year long.
The Grommet Program is open to any athlete (male or female) 14
years old and younger (must be in Middle School or Elementary
School, this league is not for High School athletes).
Participants are engaged in a new activity to have fun and learn
new skills. While “playing the game” is important, it is not
overly competitive. We will provide opportunities for our
players to enhance their strength, ball handling and pool
awareness to increase their competitiveness. All athletes are
encouraged to play year round whether it is socially for
personal enjoyment or to compete at the higher level.
