Mission Statement

The Scripps Water Polo Association, Inc. is a California non-profit public benefit association established to provide youths aged 10 to 18 opportunities to learn and participate in the sport of water polo.  The association provides organizational support and funding to operate boys' and girls' club teams, and to pay for those teams' associated coaching, pool time, equipment, and tournament participation. The association also provides supplemental support and funding for our local high school water polo teams. The Scripps Water Polo Association, Inc. is devoted to fostering the sport of water polo exclusively at the amateur level.

The Scripps Water Polo Association (SWPA) is a California Non-Profit Public Benefit Corporation operating as a tax-exempt public charity under section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. Our Federal Tax ID is 26-2915185. Donations to SWPA are tax deductible to the full extent of the law. Please consult with your tax advisor for your specific circumstance.
